Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Zuwara.
Zuwara is owned and operated by ALAQA Business Services Company, a Single-Person Limited Liability Company, registered in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("Zuwara", "we", "us", or "our").
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Zuwara application, website, or related services.
By accessing the Service, creating an account, or completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. Scope of Service
Zuwara is a Saudi digital healthcare platform enabling users to access healthcare and related services, including remote healthcare consultations, appointment booking, and other healthcare services made available through the platform.
Healthcare services are provided by qualified and appropriately licensed healthcare practitioners or service providers in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Zuwara is licensed by the Saudi Ministry of Health to provide Remote Care and Telemedicine services under License No. 1400077354.
Clinical assessments, diagnoses, medical recommendations, prescriptions, and treatment decisions remain the professional responsibility of the treating healthcare practitioner.
2. Geographic Scope
Zuwara is governed by the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and regulated healthcare services are primarily provided within the Kingdom unless a particular Service is expressly made available elsewhere in accordance with applicable requirements.
Technical availability of the application or website outside Saudi Arabia does not necessarily mean that all healthcare services are available in every country or region.
3. Medical Emergencies
Zuwara is not an emergency medical service.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency or believe that you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency services immediately and do not rely on the application for emergency assistance.
4. Accounts
Users must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating or maintaining an account.
Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and must not share them with unauthorized persons.
Zuwara should be notified promptly if unauthorized account access is suspected.
Zuwara may suspend or restrict an account in cases of misuse, violation of these Terms or applicable laws, or security risks.
5. Appointments and Consultations
Appointments are subject to the schedules and availability displayed within the application.
Users are responsible for verifying booking information, being available at the scheduled time, and maintaining adequate internet connectivity for remote services.
Appointments may occasionally be changed, rescheduled, or cancelled, and users will be notified where reasonably possible.
A healthcare practitioner may determine that an in-person assessment, emergency service, or referral to another provider is clinically appropriate.
6. Prices and Payments
The applicable price is displayed before a booking and payment are completed.
Payments are processed in Saudi Riyals using supported electronic payment methods, which may include Visa, Mastercard, and other available methods.
Complete payment-card information is processed through specialized payment service providers and is not stored by Zuwara where processed directly by such providers.
Zuwara may receive transaction information including the amount, date, status, and transaction reference.
7. Value Added Tax
Value Added Tax is applied where required under Saudi Arabian law.
ALAQA Business Services Company's VAT Registration Number is:
312430027100003
8. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds
Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by Zuwara's Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Where a refund is due, it will generally be returned to the original payment method where possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on the bank or payment service provider.
9. User Obligations
Users must not misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with platform functionality or systems, use another person's account without authorization, knowingly provide false information, or use the Service for unlawful activities.
10. Privacy and Health Data
Personal and health information is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Users understand that providing healthcare services may require relevant health information to be made available to the healthcare practitioner or provider responsible for the Service.
11. Third-Party Service Providers
Certain platform features may rely on specialized payment, hosting, security, communications, calling, notification, mapping, or other supporting service providers.
Information is shared with such providers only to the extent necessary to operate or provide the relevant Service and subject to applicable contractual and regulatory requirements.
12. Intellectual Property
The Zuwara application, website, trademarks, software, designs, content, and proprietary features are owned by ALAQA Business Services Company or its licensors, as applicable.
They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially exploited without authorization.
13. Service Availability
Zuwara takes reasonable steps to maintain the availability and reliability of the Service. However, the Service may be affected by maintenance, upgrades, connectivity issues, technical failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
14. Limitation of Liability
The rights and liabilities of all parties are subject to applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
To the extent permitted by law, Zuwara is not responsible for losses resulting from misuse of the Service, inaccurate information supplied by a user, failure to follow a healthcare practitioner's instructions, or circumstances beyond Zuwara's reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
15. Account Deletion
Users may request deletion of their account through the account-deletion function available within the application or through Zuwara's Account and Data Deletion request method.
Information that Zuwara is not legally required to retain will be deleted or anonymized.
